.NET MAUI

Tritium UI for .NET MAUI

These are commercial controls for third-party .NET developers worldwide. License a single product group, the Essentials suite, or the Complete suite. Put them in an app for any industry.

Coming: WinForms · ASP.NET Core · ASP.NET MVC 5

.NET MAUI on Android, iOS, Mac Catalyst, and Windows, in any kind of app.

Platforms

The target framework for each platform, and the oldest operating system we support there.

Tritium UI target frameworks and minimum OS versions
Target framework Minimum OS
net10.0-android Android 21
net10.0-ios iOS 15
net10.0-maccatalyst Mac Catalyst 15
net10.0-windows10.0.19041.0 Windows 10.0.17763

These are native .NET MAUI views, not a web view. You use the same control set on every platform.

More .NET platforms are coming

.NET MAUI is where Tritium UI ships first. We're bringing the same product groups to WinForms and to ASP.NET, built the same way: our own code, with no third-party libraries. These platforms aren't available yet, and we haven't set dates.

Tritium UI platforms, available and planned
Platform Platform code Status What's planned
.NET MAUI .NETMAUI Available Android, iOS, Mac Catalyst, and Windows, on .NET 10
WinForms for .NET Framework 4.7.1 .NET471 Planned Its own package for desktop apps on .NET Framework 4.7.1 and later
WinForms for modern .NET .NETCore10 Planned A separate package for WinForms apps on modern .NET (.NET 10)
ASP.NET Core .ASPCore10 Planned Blazor components first, then Tag Helpers for MVC and Razor Pages
ASP.NET (.NET Framework) .ASPNet Planned ASP.NET MVC 5 helpers for web apps on .NET Framework 4.7.1

One license, every platform. Yours to keep. Licenses are per developer. A product group license covers that group on every Tritium platform, so you don't buy it again for WinForms or the web. The apps and sites you deploy are royalty-free. Your license doesn't expire: the edition you buy keeps working, and one year of updates for that edition is included.

Not every control will arrive on every platform at the same time. Ask Sales which controls are planned for the platform you target.

Control catalog

These are the controls. The names below are what you write in your app.

Barcode

Barcode can draw a code and read one. The views are TritiumBarcodeView and TritiumBarcodeScanner.

Encode

Draws a barcode in the symbologies listed below.

Decode

Reads a barcode from a keyboard wedge or a still image.

Keyboard wedge and still-image decode run on Android, iOS, Mac Catalyst, and Windows. Live camera runs on Android, iOS, and Mac Catalyst when a camera is reported; Windows has no live camera scan. The camera opens only after RequestEnableCameraAsync and a granted camera permission.

Turn on GS1-128 (FNC1) for Code 128, and infer GS1 formatting when the value already looks like an element string.

Licensing

Can I buy less than the suite?

Yes. License a single product group, such as Tritium Data Grids or Tritium Charts, or Essentials (Tritium UI Controls and Tritium Data Grids). Complete includes all nine product groups. Individual controls aren't sold one at a time. Each product group has its own installer.

Do I have to build software for a particular industry?

No. Tritium UI is a commercial control suite for .NET developers worldwide, and you can use it in an app for any industry.

Which UI stack is it?

Tritium UI for .NET MAUI. The target frameworks are net10.0-android, net10.0-ios, net10.0-maccatalyst, and net10.0-windows10.0.19041.0. WinForms and ASP.NET versions are planned.

Will Tritium UI come to WinForms or ASP.NET?

Yes. They're planned, but they aren't available yet. WinForms will come as two separate packages, one for .NET Framework 4.7.1 and one for modern .NET. ASP.NET Core will get Blazor components first, then Tag Helpers. ASP.NET on .NET Framework will get ASP.NET MVC 5 support. We haven't announced dates. Today, Tritium UI ships for .NET MAUI.

Do I need a separate license for each platform?

No. A product group license covers that group on every Tritium platform. Licenses are per developer, and the apps you deploy are royalty-free.

Does my license expire?

No. A Tritium UI license is yours to keep, and the edition you license keeps working in your apps. Each license includes one year of updates for that edition. We ship a new edition each year, named for the year and quarter it comes out. A new edition isn't included in your update year. When you want it, renew your license for that product at 20% off, whenever you're ready.

Do I need any third-party libraries?

No. Tritium UI is written entirely by Tritium Apps. We write all of our own code and use no third-party libraries. The only package dependencies are Microsoft's own .NET packages, starting with .NET MAUI itself, which your app already references.

Where do the packages come from?

They come with the license. Contact sales@tritiumapps.com for pricing and licenses. We deliver the packages with that license.

Where do I pay, and where do I get help?

Contact sales@tritiumapps.com for pricing and licenses. Need help? Email support@tritiumapps.com.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, you can request one. Request a free trial or email sales@tritiumapps.com, tell us what you're building, and Sales will reply with the details.
